‘Versatile’ - the one word to describe Rajkumar Rao. The 31-year-old actor has made a name for himself in the B-town. He got his big break in the industry with Dibakar Banerjee’s ‘Love Sex Aur Dhoka’. Since then he has starred in numerous movies where his character’s individuality has been appreciated irrespective of the film’s fate. The FTII graduate can be seen in various flicks in significant roles such as Talaash, Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 2, Chittagong, Shaitan and many more. The brilliant performances of Rajkumar Rao have always amazed us.

1.Shahid:-

One of the best performances of  Rao as Shahid in the movie by date same name. The flamboyant actor received much critical acclaim for his performance in the film. In the enthralling storyline, Rajkumar essayed the role of Shahid Azmi, an advocate who was assassinated. For this, he won the National Award for Best Actor and Filmfare Best Actor Critics Choice Award.

2.Hamari Adhuri Kahani:-

Rao’s character portrayal wasn’t overshadowed by Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi in the film. He played the role of an emotionally turbulent criminal linked to a terrorist organization. He effortlessly portrayed the role. He even went on the lock himself in a room for days and lost some extra kilos for the role.

3.Citylights:-

Rajkumar’s acting chops seemed to increase day by day with every passing movie. He portrayed the role of a typical poverty-stricken man who faces a lot of difficulties with his family. His flawless performance was well appreciated by the audience and critics.

4.Trapped:-

This is a film with just one character that is trapped inside a flat. Even though the film is confined, Rajkumar’s performance with fewer dialogues and more emotions is worthy to watch. His portrayal made the audience glued to their seats.

5.Bose: Dead/Alive:-

It is a historical period-drama web series based on the legendary freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose. Once again Rajkumar gave a stellar performance which was widely received by the film fraternity. He put on an additional 11 kilos for the role. His perfect portrayal infuses new life into Bose’s persona.
