Real life couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have evidently given their own official gesture to “Gulab
Jamun”. This is a Romantic comedy movie
(ROM-COM) which is written and directed by newcomer Sarvesh Mewara and
produced by Phantom Films. Abhishek and Aishwarya are got the approach to be
the lead they have liked the content but haven’t given it an official nod yet.
Buzz is that Jaya Bachchan was also
requested to join the film as an older Ash; but she has declined, while Amitabh Bachchan has been drawn closer
to assume an exceptionally extraordinary part in the film. This is will be
Aishwarya and Abhishek`s eight-film following seven years. Their last film was Mani Ratnam`s Raavan (2010).

This film is a quirky
dramedy (drama and comedy), a slice-of-life film which has Aishwarya Rai
Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have to act as an elder. While Abhishek was
offered to act as a mature one and becomes somebody else, Aishwarya was offered
to become an elderly woman (played by another actress). It was confirmed by
Aishwarya that she and Abhishek were approached by Phantom Film’s next project at cannon
film festival the script was narrated to them. According to Abhishek, they
were still in talks with Anurag Kashyap about
it. The narration of the script was taking the time that’s why both the stars
took time to give their nod. Last month a narration was given to Aishwarya and
Abhishek, both of them liked the script and agreed to come on board. There are
some other issues like dates and remuneration. Once that is finalized an
announcement will be made soon.”
