Andaz Apna Apna

This cult film was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and starred Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon and karishma Kapoor in the lead roles.
This movie was first of it’s kind of comedy in Bollywood where humor is generated using movie references, cult references and also use of real name. it is the 4th highest rated indian movie in IMDB. Shakti Kapoor’s character, Crime Master Gogo, is supposedly the nephew of Mogambo.

Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro

It is a dark satire on the rampant corruption in India. The star cast of the film are Naseeruddin Shah, Ravi Baswani, Om Puri, Pankaj Kapur, Satish Shah and Neena Gupta.
This movie was made in a shoestring budget where the most was paid to Naseeruddin Shah which was 15,000 rupees.
This movie was a smashing hit and way ahead of its time!

Gol Maal
This cult film was directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee and generated several awardsa dn was praised by critics. The movie starred Amol Palekar, Utpal Dutt and Bindiya Goswami in the lead roles. Amitabh Bachcahn has a cameo in one scene. The remake of “Gol Maal” was Bol Bachchan which was directed by Rohit Shetty.

Hera Pheri
Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Tabu played the lead characters of this film. It has become a classic in the comedy genre. The story revolves around 3 unemployed men, who find the answer to their money problems by conning  a con. It is a remake of a Malyalam film Ramji Rav Speaking. The character of Paresh Rawal, Baburao Ganpat Rao Apte became an iconic character of Hindi films.

Muna Bhai M.B.B.S
Rajkumar directorial, which had Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani in the lead roles, became one of the best comedy films of our time. The film is about a gangster who sets out to fulfill his father;s dream of becoming a doctor. Sunil Dutt wass seen for the last time in this film as Sanjay’s father. This film is loosely based on the 1998 film Patch  Adams, starring Robin Williams.
