Here she debut as a sultry elegant villainess in Aitrazz
which made us want to bash her, as she kept conspiring and troubling poor Akshay Kumar. The fact that she angered

This movie not just gave Priyanka the Best Actress award but
also changed her status as an actress; all whilst slapping shut anyone who
claimed she was “all face and no substance”! She adeptly depicts a small town
girl who gets tangled in the workings of the fashion industry, loses her way

3# 7 Khoon Maaf
Vishal Bharadwaj’s brave and well executed attempt at
adapting Ruskin Bond’s ‘Susanna`s Seven Husbands’ where Priyanka plays an
unfortunate woman who makes several failed attempts at love. She slips into a
Medea-like catastrophe that is hell-bent on revenge, and murders all of her husband’s!
PC received the Critics Best Actressaward and Dadasaheb Phalke AcademyAward for Memorable Performance award along with various others for the

4# Barfi
How is it possible to leave out Barfi when we are listing out
PC’s best performances!? PC plays the autistic love stricken character with the
right amount of subtlety which makes it realistic. The song “Fir le ayaa”,
brings out the best in her, where she conveys the most sensitive and beautiful
emotions of a woman wrapped delicately in the character! One of her best performances till date which
redefined her as an actor, and she looks equally pretty without all the glamour
on!
5# Mary Kom
Priyanka has beautifully absorbed the character and
personality of Mary Kom and consequently depicts different aspects of her life
including motherhood and her boxing career. Isn’t it admirable how the
promising actress has given writers and directors a bigger canvas and a greater
possibility of creating and adapting various more complex characters! And how
can we forget the physical transformation she went through!?
