Recently Bollywood produce
lots of biopics. “Raja Harishchandra” was the first biopic of Indian cinema
which was directed and produced by Dadasahed Phalke in 1913. From the last few decade
Bollywood produced most number of biopics like Mary Kom, Bhag Milkha BHag,
Dangal, M.S.Dhoni, Azhar, etc. Most of them are based on the life of sports
stars.
Recently the shoot is
finish for Akshay kumar’s upcoming Bollywood Biopics Movie “Gold”; It’s a
biopic on Hockey star Balbir Singh. Balbir Singh was in the team that won the
first ever Olympic medal for India at the 14th Olympiad in London. The captain
of the team was Kishen Lal. That was the first time India marched with the
tricolour as a free nation in 1948. Balbir Singh was an essential part of the
team but this legendary player never got the recognition he deserved. He has
many unbeaten records written in his name. After retiring from the game, he
mentored, coached and managed India team. Akshay Kumar is now all set to show
people who Balbir Singh is.
The film is being
directed by Reema Kagti. Gold is being produced by the amazing duoFarhan Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar.
In this movie Telly
star, Mouni Roy, stars opposite to Akshay kumar in Gold and couldn’t have had a
better start than this, working alongside Akshay Kumar and producer like Farhan
Akhtar. We wish her all the best and hope for a great bollywood career.

film, Akshay Kumar is on a roll and we are sure the film will be amazing! Akshay Kumar’s Bollywood movie - “Padman” is also coming soon. This is the story of
Arunachalam Muruganantham who revolutionized the concept of menstrual hygiene
in rural India. He will also be seen as an antagonist opposite Rajnikanth in
“2.0”.
