The makers of ‘Veerey Ki Wedding` have decided upon an early release of the movie. can now rejoice as the film will be releasing a week early. The Pulkit Samrat starrer, Veerey ki wedding release date, will now hit the theatres on March 2.
The trailer of “Veerey Ki Wedding” has been creating a lot of positive buzz among Pulkit Samrat fans. The `Fukrey` actor will be seen romancing Kriti, while Jimmy will essay Pulkit`s bachelor brother. Shot in Delhi, the film will be an action-drama. The trailer has given us a whiff of the plot. Meet Geet, (Veer`s interest) played by Kirti Kharbanda with typical Bollywood style of dancing and singing. The film also stars Jimmy Shergill in a pivotal role. He plays Samrat`s unmarried elder brother. His character is reminiscent of the Tanu Weds Manu franchise, only less exciting. The trailer of the film was released recently and it looks like just another Bollywood film with ample cliches.

Samrat plays the rowdy Delhi boy who beats up supposed goons on the street because they`re bad. He only beats people up when it serves some purpose. Shergill delivers long, heavy dialogues in the trailer with the same style that has won him praise and love from the critics and audiences alike. However, the screen time, in the trailer at least, is dominated by Samrat.
The film will be helmed by Ashu Trikha of `Alag`, `Koyelanchal`, and `Deewanapan` fame. Pulkit Samrat was last seen in Fukrey Returns which failed to get, as good response as the original movie.
