Rajkumar Rao's career started with the film 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha', for which he gave his audition when he saw an advertisement in which the film's director Dibakar Banerjee wanted to take some new boys into his film. After this, the graph of his film career went on increasing day by day. They made their own position as Ragini MMS, Shaitan, Kai Po Che!, Shahid, and others. The film 'Shahid' received good response from everywhere, as well as being given the National Award for Best Actor for this film.
